The MULTUS u3000 has a large B-axis rotation range of 240°. Relying on the B-axis's 240° large rotation range, the main spindle and the opposite spindle have the same processing area. In addition, the B-axis drive in the NC-B-axis specification uses a roller tooth cam with zero backlash, which achieves high-precision 5-axis linkage. The high-precision positioning of the C-axis is controlled by 0.0001°, and the standard configuration adopts the high-precision C-axis that can achieve precise indexing of the main spindle and the opposite spindle. It can complete high-precision processing of complex-shaped workpieces. In addition, the machine tool support structure that supports powerful milling enables high-precision and high-efficiency machining to be realized simultaneously.
